| The history of ship electrical propulsion was almost 100 years, but because of the limitation of technology, It had not been widely used .In the last 20 years, with the development of power electronic technology of ship, electric propulsion was accepted by more and more ship owners and shipyard.First of all, the paper has an analysis of ship electric propulsion technology. Different parts of electric propulsion system are introduced and researched. The paper has a detail research of the superiority of de electrical propulsion comparing with traditional diesel propulsion.Secondly, after synthesis analysis of the central cooling system, this paper analyzes the necessary and feasibility of optimum design and presents the common design principle of central cooling system of electrical propulsion ship .It points out two kinds of design projects of a certain type of electric propulsion ship.Then, it ascertains the calculation method suitable for the designing characteristics of cooling system, and the mathematic model of the central cooling system is constructed and simulated. Based on the above-mentioned methods, the Central Cooling System is designed.In the end, to make full use of seawater cooling capacity, seawater system operation is optimized. And control programmes of the central cooling system ship are explored.It points out that under current situation, the optimum design of electric propulsion ship's central cooling system will raise the reliability and economy of system operation. |
