Study On The Location Of Good-sized Crude Oil Dock In The Pearl River Delta

The Pearl River Delta is the most prosperous region, and also is a main energy consumption region of our country. The petrochemical industry is flourishing and owns many petrochemical industry bases, accordingly have already formed integrated petrochemical industry system on a large scale. But the development is restricted by the short of crude oil resources in region, therefore, the need of crude oil by importing continuously increase. Together with the crude oil tanker become increasingly larger and the government attaches importance to energy safety problem, the current crude oil dock have already can not keep up with the demand. Hence, the construction of large scale crude oil dock is urgent and necessary.The dissertation makes a sufficient research on this problem. Firstly, the author forecasts the import amounts of the crude oil by qualitative and quantitative methods respectively, followed the analysis on the trend of the regional oil product consumption and oil refining. The second part of this paper analyzes synthetically the necessity of regional large scale crude oil dock construction. And after that, the dissertation introduces two mathematical methods - Information Entropy Theory and Fuzzy Synthesis Evaluation Theory. These methods resolve the problem that how to order the candidate ports by the integrated estimations. We get the data by distributing the questionnaires to experts and sum their ideas up. In the last part, the writer draws conclusions of the whole dissertation and gives out the directions of the future research.
