The simulator of ship power station is the important composition part of turbine simulator, and it can strengthen student actual operation ability. In ship power station, it's one of the main functions of ship power station automation to merge dynamotor group into electric net to work on parallel connection. Thus, simulation of parallel operation is also one of the important parts of ship power station simulation. This topic is brought forward for the parallel operation screen of ship power station simulation, and it is the point of this paper to achieve detecting and display of three important parameters in parallel operation and communicating between every subsystem.So, this thesis includes two main parts: frequency and phase detecting module base on FPGA, and CAN-bus communication module.About the frequency and phase detecting module, we fully using the virtue of FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) and MCU (Micro Control Unit) to design it. Make use of FPGA (EPF10K10LC84-4) to complete logic function of frequency and phase detecting in equal precision. MCU (AT89C52) controls FPGA and collects data from it. After dealing with the data, MCU display the results (frequency, phase difference) by LCD module (TG12864).The hardware circuit of CAN-bus communication module is composed of MCU (AT89C52), CAN controller (SJA1000) and CAN transceiver (82C250). The software of this part is mainly designed for the communication between MCU and CAN controller, which includes initialization, sending, receiving, self-detecting, call off sending and so on. CAN-bus communication module capable of achieving every subsystem communicates each other, which make every sub-computer have the ability to send data like a main-computer, and sub-computers which communicate on CAN-bus without difference of principal and subordinate. CAN-bus has the flexible expansibility.
