With the development of modern science and technology, the tendency of global economy, each country is confronted with opportunity and challenge. Modern logistics, an advanced organization mode, broadly considered as an important profit source besides decreasing material consumption and improving productivity, is playing an important role in national economy and society development. But, at present, because of such constraint factors as weak logistics establishment, underdevelopment logistics technologies and shortage of persons with logistics ability, many enterprises have the short-sight and profit-trend ideas, and only attach importance to the application of logistics in the two circulation fields of supply and marketing, but they don't fully understand the internal logistics, particularly logistics on the assembly line, ergonomics and working posture. At the same, our country is trapped by the traditional planning economy and U.S.S.R production models, and many problems appear in the production tache of the enterprise, and the production process is in chaos, which is concretely showed in the traditional mechanical manufacturing enterprises of little batch production.Just in these backgrounds, the production process of van is considered as the research object, and it's planning and optimized from the point of logistics and ergonomics. The main content of the article includes:1) The development of modern products logistics and the theory of ergonomics.2) The content of research. This research includes the dimension of machine tools, working procedures and working environment based on some factory.3) Analysis of the working posture and design of the accessorial machine to lessen workers.4) Research on the assembly line, including factory layout, parts transit by workers and the balance of the productivity and the plan of production.5) The analysis and optimization based on the result of simulation.
