Navigation marks have played a very imortant role on the safe ,economical and advantageous navigation of vessels. However, the traditional management model of navigation marks is out of date and has some shortcomings so that it can't meet the requirements of high quality safe navigation that are brought up by the busy waterway transportation. Based on BeiDou satellite navigation position, and combining the actuality of navigation mark management in WuHan harbor waterway, the thesis develops an economical and reliable wireless monitoring system of navigation mark used in inland waterways . The system consists of the control center, the monitoring center, monitoring terminal and satellite navigation positioning system . It can monitor the operational parameters and positioning information automatically, help the waterway administration to get the operational status of navigation mark rapidly and find out the faults in time, improve the reliability of navigation mark, increase the safety of the waterway transportation. Based on analyzing the function requirements of the navigation mark monitoring system deeply, the thesis presents the general structure of the system, divides the system into function modules, completes the communication interfaces among the modules. The main content of the research includes the computer technology, GSM communication technology, navigation positioning technology, measuring technology and energy source technology used in the system.The terminal of BeiDou user has the ability of intercommunication, which is the prominence merit of the technology of navigation and orientation which uses BeiDou. Based on this merit, this article designed the configuration and the data flow of the whole system independently, combining with GSM network, after the short message which was from the monitor center to control center was sent, the monitor terminal of the navigation marks receives the data of the navigation mark position, which by the technology of the intercommunication on satellite transmission. Those information combining with its work state is sent to the monitor center by the methodof the short message. And so, the monitor center has ability to monitor the work state of the whole navigation marks system in real time. What's more, this article also discusses the integrated project based on BeiDou satellite system and pesudolite technology,combined with differential position technology , to improve the position precision of BeiDou system . This research enlarged the applied field of pesudolite system and advanced the research in BeiDou satellite navigation position system.What's more, this article also discusses the design of the database and procedure which is uesd in the navigation marks system particularly,and introduces the interface of the system and function briefly.Navigation mark monitoring system is a systematic project,which involves navigation positioning technology,wireless data transmission,GIS,database,computer software and so on.All these factors should be considered when the system projects developed in practical application. Also, this reseach is an avail explore for the informational and intelligentized management of inland waterways.
