In order to make the ship sailing in the ocean can be autonomous navigation and real-timecommunication with the outside world, this paper adopts the BeiDou-2Navigation SatelliteSystem and GIS technology, develop a marine terminal with intelligent navigation features andshort message functions. Using the terminal can ensure that the ship navigation safety andefficiency, enhance command center monitoring and management of the ship.BeiDou Navigation Satellite System as China’s researched and independent operation of theglobal satellite navigation system, reflects the comprehensive Power of our country, break themonopoly of GPS in China, promote the development of China navigation industry, add newimpetus to the economic development in China. This design of Marine navigation andinformation services intelligent terminal which is based on BeiDou-2satellite navigation systemcan be divided into three parts: The first part is the signal transmitter-receiver section ofBeiDou-2, which is mainly used to convert received analog signals into digital signals, orconvert digital signals into analog signals and send them out. The second part is data Receiving,transmitting and processing section, which is primarily responsible for receiving and transmittingdata, parsing and transforming data, realizing positioning and communication function of system.The third part is the electronic chart display and communication display, which will parse outnavigation information and displayed on the screen electronic chart.This thesis takes Visual Studio as development environment, uses SQLite database to storedata, according to the satellite navigation information standard NEMA-0183to parse andtransform data. Finally, the design of the product has been tested. The test results prove that thedesign of this thesis is feasible.
