Research And Application Of Outer Space In Huizhou Traditional Settlement

Titles: Research and Application of Outer Space in Huizhou TraditionalSettlementThis paper is based on the investigation and data about the HuiZhou regionalvillages in my lab, and analyses the characteristic of outer space in these villages andexplore some hint on the current design. All of these are combined with the practicalproject and under the background of local nature,economic, society and culture.In the first part, the paper studies the space image, structure and characteristicsof some village investigated by me, such as Xidi, Tangmo, Tangyue, Xiaoqi, Zhanqi,and summarize the meaning of "Soft environment" and "Physical environment".Based on front part, I contrast the outer space of primary Huizhou Village with that ofmodern projects to conclude the methods and elements which can be used now.Finally, I used the theories in the Project---Research on the Landscape of QishuInternational Traveling and Vacationing Village in Huangshan to validate it.Furthermore, I want to put forward some principles about how to deal with traditionalvillage including Culture evolvement , Function perfection, and New ideaimagination."The localization of modern architecture and the modernization of localarchitecture is a common approach to be shared by all in the progress towardarchitectural proliferation." Beijing Charter published in 1999 puts forward theviewpoint that we must put tradition in the development point and we should learnfrom it unobtrusively and impersonally. At the same time, innovation without anyhesitation is also important.So I want to explore a possible approach by analyzing a little aspect ---the outerspace of traditional settlement and researching its "modernization" and "localization".
