Dynamic characteristic test machine of high-speed automobile tire is the experimental equipment used for testing various capability parameters of tires working in high speed (250km/h). The developing status of tire test machines both home and abroad is overviewed and the tire test machine is studied by modern designing techniques in this thesis. The three dimensional modeling and dynamic simulation of mechanical structure in the first working place, numerical movement simulation of herringbone frame and dynamic design of rolling drum are carried out with computer aided design, finite element analysis (FEA) and dynamic mechanism design based on the motion scheme of the mechanism in the first working place drawn out.Two mechanical movement schemes that can meet the movement need are brought out according to the requirements of the first working place at first. Two sketches of the framework are analyzed and compared, the comparatively perfect motion scheme are determined. The in-depth study of important mechanical parts in the first working place is carried through for the realization of structure. At first, three dimensional model of the mechanical parts in the first working place is established by Pro/Engineer Wildfire. The assembly of parts, infliction of motors and movement simulation of the whole mechanical structure in the first working place are achieved by movement simulation module. Secondly, the ANSYS command stream is written by APDL which is the customization language of ANSYS based on statics, the parameterized FEA model of herringbone frame is founded. Stress and displacement pictures of the herringbone frame and stress curves of the important positions during declining movement are gained by circle and embranchment programmes, the numerical movement simulation is achieved. Finally, dynamic design of the rolling drum is performed by ANSYS and Pro/MECHANICA. FEA modal analysis of rolling drum is processed respectively according to several schemes brought forward, low steps of mode and displacement of the drum under different structure are obtained and the final drum structure is determined by comparison, thereasonable drum parameters are determined by analyzing main parameters' influences on drum based on the decided structure at last.
