The Study On The Design Technique Of Regional Modern Architecture Based On "Archetype & Transformation"

Both the museum of Fujian province and south-architecture museum in Quanzhou are the projects of regional modern architecture designed by the institute of architecture of south-east university. It is supported to conclude the design technique of regional modern architecture through these two projects based on the archetype and transformation and to pave the logical and effective way for design.The idea and technique are the soul of whole article. It combined regional and modernity with the process of design, illustrated with the masterpiece of regional modern architectures all around the world such as in India, Japan, Mexico, and Nordic etc, as the complements of instances for the design technique.First of all, the whole process of design is divided into four parts: archetype reverting, symbol transformation, topologic transformation, and integrated conformity. And these four parts are explained by the typology, semiolog, topology and psychology as well. Then, it represents the design techniques from the ways of natural, culture and technology, combined with the two projects, to provide the concrete techniques of design of regional modern architecture. And the epilogue gives the factors of the quality pledge of the regional modern architecture to prospect the new approach with the development of high-tech and digital-tech for the design technique of regional modern architecture.
