Control System Study On Turbine Protection And Auxiliaries Interlocking Equipment Of 125MW Unit

Turbine protection and interlock control systems monitor the safe operation and prevent accidents of the turbine by programs and interlocking equipment.A lot of prevention and interlocking systems of 125 units are constituted with conventional relays which need maintenance and affect the correct action in operation. With the development of computer technology PLCs are used .This paper studies turbine operation properties and auxiliaries interlocking status quo and analyzes the PLC application characteristics. The new control system of turbine protection and interlock designed with PLCs features high reliability, fast calculation, more complex logic, and information sharing with DCS. This advanced system is able to analyze the protection causes and save the cause and SOE items, and it has been successfully applied to a turbine protection and auxiliaries interlocking system of a 125 MW unit...
