By employing the "Ground Dynamic Force Theory"and using computer technology, the essay makes in-depth analysis on the dynamic research and suggests the theory and methodology for the power calculation as well as the structure designing theory of large-scale crawler-driving mechanism, with the target of improving driving performance and reducing power consumption for such driving mechanism. The theory and methodology as stated in this essay can be taken as the reference during developing and researching heavy-duty machinery. In light of the basic information of the heavy-duty machinery in terms of production capability, machine operating weight, machine gravity location and driving ground condition, the essay outlines the configuration structure and technical data for the crawler driving mechanism which can meet the requirement of maintaining driving reliability and good going-through of the machine. The essay also makes research on the dynamic driving force, steering mechanic features and steering dynamic features of the dual-crawler heavy-duty driving mechanism, on the basis of which the essay sets up a mathematic model for multi-crawler heavy-duty driving mechanism, meanwhile, analyzing its mechanical structure features and its way of driving, raising the calculation methodology for driving force as well as illustrating the method and process for determining the technical specification and parameters of the crawler driving mechanism according to the specific working requirement on the heavy-duty machinery.
