The paper has designed a kind of digital excitation voltage regulator that is based on the chip of TMS320LF2407A DSP,and has debugged it.The digital excitation voltage regulator has adopted the compound method as "the big disturbance, the small deviation "to control excitation. The result of emulation has showed us that it's capability is better than that of pure PID control method.The digital excitation voltage regulator has simple and reliable hardware circuit, and It has creative something in the measurement of electric circuit and the calculationmethod of electric quantity. The electric quantity that the measurement hardware circuit has measured are more overall. It has not only measured generating line line-voltage, line-current and frequency , but also excitation current. The AC measurement method is used in the measurement circuit, and the calculation method of momentary electric quantity is used in the software. So, we can get to know the value of momentary line-voltage and line-current ,if we have nothing remains but to collect and measure one point. The software is all edited by compilation, and it raise the efficiency.Then , it can be better to control excitation current real-timely and raise the stability of generator voltage that excitation current is measured. Furthermore, the hardware circuit function of the digital excitation voltage regulator that the paper has designed is more complete. The problem of raise excitation of generator is also considered.In the end , the whole system is tested , it has been proved from the experiment results that the function of voltage adjustment of the digital excitation voltage regulator that the paper has designed has successfully met the requirement and improved the quality for the power supply. And it can be used in the synchronous generator excitation controlling system.
