A Study On The Simulation Of Expressway Transportation Safety Based On AutoCAD

Along with the high speed development of economic in our country, the traffic mileage of the expressway, the production of the automotive vehicle and the social stock of the mobile car increase year by year, so the death toll of the traffic accident also begins to increase year by year. But the developed country is different from our country, their death toll of the traffic accident and death rates have the trend of descending. Therefore it is necessary to procceed the research on the transportation safety. At present, the best method of the research on the transportation safety is to make use of the computer to procceed simulation. In the field of the research on the transportation simulation, there is a lot of practice abroad, and they have also developed many mature software products. But these all aim at the overseas transportation condition, and are not suitable for the situation of China. This paper commences from the traffic accident analysis, puts the analysis conclusion and road attribute into Geographic Information System(GIS), then on the foundation proceeds the study of simulation. In the paper all module including road model, GIS, simulation platform, are redeveloped on the basis of AutoCAD. It gathers the CAD, GIS and the transportation simulation into integration, applies Cellular Automaton Theory in the simulation, and provides the improved simulation platform and vehicle--driver model. So it can solve the difficult problem that vehicle can't take place collision in the transportation simulation software. Finally, regarding Xiaogan-Xiangfan expressway in Hubei province as the research object, this paper procceed the imitation experiment of simulation platform. This paper has two main creative points: 1. It proceeds the development of the transportation simulation on the basis of AutoCAD platform, gathers the CAD, GIS and transportation simulation into integration, makes use of the development environment of Microsoft Visual Studio .NET, and builds the foundation for function expansion in the future. This idea accords with the trend of development direction of modern transportation simulation software too. 2. It adopts the Object Oriented Programming, provides the improved simulation platform and Driver Cellular Automaton Model based on driver's behavior and the vehicle dynamics, solves the difficult problem that vehicle can't take place collision in the transportation simulation software.
