The wide use of laser in various fields brings forward higher demand for quality of the laser spot. The traditional measuring methods lack multi-dimension display for laser spot profile and systematic analysis for laser parameters. This project aims to develop a laser spot analyzing software based on CCD measurement in order to analyze the laser spot in intuitionistic vision and make full use of the laser's value. The task focuses on research and realization of the functions and algorithm in the software. The software developing mainly takes the method that combines WINDOWS programming, C/C++ programming with OpenGL library functions, and makes systematic data analysis and result display. In the software, the display of laser spot profile function realizes 3D visualization and pseudo colorization of the laser spot and its rotatable display, with the algorithm of geometry element triangle strip certosina in OpenGL. Meanwhile, the below parameter value has been calculated though the analyze on the discrete data of the laser spot: 1. laser power; 2. intensity of any point; 3. X,Y radius; 4.laser spot center; 5. laser spot departure. The software has functions of filtering on image, including the average filtering, improved average filtering, median filtering and improved median filtering etc. the software has its helping document and interface for its hardware, and a dependent setup file forms. The final software proves it has reached the intended goal; it has high reliability and flexibility, and it has unique advantage in speed and expansibility.
