Black start of power systems is a very important problem in the restoration strategyafter a complete blackout. A series of feasible black-start schemes may be formedaccording to the specific state of the network after the blackout. Evaluating theseschemes objectively and providing a scientific decision reference for dispatches have thegreat significance for restoring system as soon as possible. This thesis studies the problemof black-start, analyzing various factors synthetically which influences the schemes, establishing the evaluation indexes system and evaluation model. An evaluation method basedon Fuzzy AHP and TOPSIS is put forward for black-start schemes. An evaluation system ofblack-start schemes is developed and integrated to a black-start decision support systemfor Southern Hebei Power Network. The thesis also makes a preliminary research for thesubsystem partitioning for restoration strategy under the condition that multi black-startsources could be found.
