It concerns investment effect whether a hydropower project is built to use in expect time or not. So it is an important progress and central task to control effectively construction schedule to obtain destination successfully in the hydropower project management. This paper has a study on the four dimensional design of hydropower project of control method, progress deviation, prediction method, multi-optimization of network plan.At first, this paper presents an overall introduction to the past and current situation of hydropower project construction schedule control and multi-optimization method. Some problem is noted in hydropower project construction schedule control and multi-optimization method. The subject matter and study perspective are pointed out.Deviation analysis is an important task of schedule control. This paper presents deviation analysis methods for schedule control, analyses the causes of progress deviation as well as the relationship between investment deviation and progress deviation. The Grey theory is applied to establish a model for the prediction of progress deviation. An example is analyzed and calculated.Time, cost and quality are the most important control objects of project management. On the basis of analyzing the relationship among the three objects, this paper discusses some theories and methods about the comprehensive optimization of the objects. And it gives a practical example on construction project calculation. It is indicated that a strategic decision on comprehensive optimization of the time, cost and quality can be made by applying optimization models of these three objects. Thus the efficiency and benefit of construction project are raised.At last, this paper discusses necessity and possibility on construction progress planning control of construction engineering. It establishes the target monitoring-forecast models and control-harmonization rules on the construction progress planning, construction on cost and resource consumption models etc, which provides the effective methods on operating optimal control for engineering building.
