Automobile safety is the one of the three studies of automotive industry sustainable development. Car safety research has been universal concern and attention. According to the statistics and traffic accidents and vehicle collision tests on the results of the study indicate, when the former Department of Motor collision to the driver seriously injured institutions is one of the main components. This paper's major study is the collision safety CAE analysis of steering column on EPS.This paper introduce the knowledge of EPS firstly and the research on the functions and structure of columns, and also introduce the collision simulation and research of columns. Steering system collisions have a large proportion according to the all types of car accidents. To protect passenger's safety, many countries have been developed and enacted stringent vehicle collision safety regulations. Major automobile manufacturers have related research institutions in improving vehicle safety issues collisions considerable research and have got achieved remarkable resultsThe paper discusses all of automobile collision's theory and methods. It is aimed at summing up the characteristics, advantages and application environment. For a study of practical issue, theories and methods are not mutually independent, but are inextricably linked. Through some testing conditions, we can get some results.According to computer simulation analysis of vehicle collisions basic theory, the paper highlights the column's Pro/e modeling and simulation collision impact tests. Through anglicizing the steering column collisions we can get the impact of conditions in different whereabouts of the impact of displacement of columns.
