With our country's reform in railway system, locomotive depot also constantly needs to improve self-management level and competitive capacity to accommodate the development requirement of the informationization technology. Therefore, the research on standardized of information convert of digitize to improve information management system of locomotive overhaul become an inevitable trend.In recent years, every locomotive Depot has carried out a great quantity work around overhaul and security issue, and developed many software and hardware systems. Locomotive overhaul information system includes the locomotive section for leaving and arriving, the locomotive small-auxiliary repairing, the locomotive overhaul and the locomotive fittings information management subsystems. Every subsystem separates form each other. The locomotives data, the operation process and working process of system are resemble. This leads to bring down the working efficiency of whole system, and exhaust a great quantity of manpower, material resource, and financial power. For data-sharing and protecting the investment that has already existed in depots, it's urgent to realize the system integration.According to above conditions, this article gives the technology which base on WEB/CORBA to solve the communication in different structural environments in the locomotive overhaul information systems, and improves the ability of load-balance, implant, reuse in system, and resolve the "an isolated island" problem of many gradations of system. This technology also stretches out the Client/Server mode from theory and technique, increases the flexibility of system, and is convenient for exploitation and promoting of system. As a result, the technology protects the investment that has already exist, and offers data-sharing, scientization, standardization and standardize in information management system.
