Research On Locomotive Affair Intergrated Management Information System Of Baotou West Locomotive Depot

In the early construction of railway infrastructure, the construction of railway information management is less valued. With the rapid development of railways and the application of information management in the construction of railway infrastructure, the railway construction gained an accelerating development. Currently, in the high-speed railway projects and passenger line construction, information construction and management has been identified as the main focus.This paper studies the construction mode of maintenance and overhaul information management on the Hohhot Railway Bureau Baotou West Locomotive Depot, mainly analyzing existing locomotive maintenance system, scope, processes and tools and equipment,etc. Considering the depot features in maintenance processes, tools and equipment, etc.,combining the information concerned with networking, automation and other information technology and using the reasonable network and the required hardware and software technology, the program can be developed in line with the actual site to make network hardware and software products reach the required technical indicators such as easy-handling,sharing, reliability, maintainability and economy and to design an internal information management system of locomotive maintenance and overhaul based on local area network(LAN).The information management system of depot maintenance is to effectively use the information of production scheduling, maintenance content, shop management, etc.Through the internal LAN, the effective operation of the quality system can be ensured to achieve business goals and service tasks, to achieve vertical and horizontal information exchange and sharing between the various departments within the enterprise, to provide more effective information services for leadership decision-making, and to realize unified command for entire overhaul and production system.Taking into account the specific circumstances and following the principle of high-cohesion and low-coupling, the system uses an integrated three-tier architecture and the structure of the whole system is the hybrid of Client / Server and Browser / Server to concretely realize the following functions: locomotive maintenance management, locomotive repair management, locomotive aided repair management, management of temporary repair and broken repair, large parts maintenance management, quality warning, maintenance materials management, attendance and performance assessment, technology management, and inspection management.Hohhot Railway Bureau Baotou West Locomotive Depot is striving for the construction of the system so as to achieve informatization management of all business segments in theprocess of maintenance and to develop the evaluation and warning mechanisms of locomotive quality, to ensure that production information is timely, accurate and smooth, to transform and upgrade traditional production management with modern information technology, to achieve a complete maintenance management, to make information management systems play a guidance role in depot management and office automation and to improve the overall quality and modern management level of the depot.
