| With the rapid development of computer and communication technology, the microcomputer technology and digital signal processor(DSP) technology have got into the field of microcomputer protection. The relay protection device based on the advanced Hardware and the embedded real-time operating system will become the main developing direction of relay protection for power system.Realizing multifunction and intelligence of microcomputer protection with DSP technology and advanced software technology has become developing direction in the future. The research on the protection device of the line based on DSP is the theme of this paper and the paper has developed a protection device for 110kV or below voltage ratings for power system with such functions as protection, measurement and control.According to widely summarizing the theory of power system relay protection and its advanced trend, the paper puts forward to a protection project based on digital signal processor(DSP) and complex and programmable logic device (CPLD), the system hardware and software of protection are introduced in detail. In the same time, the design of hardware platform and software technology both adopt modularization structure and international standard protocol, help the profouding and processing of system. In the design of hardware platform, the paper adopts high speed float-point digital signal processor(DSP) and high accurate AD sampling chip, Which advances the computer speed and accuracy, uses complex and programmable logic device (CPLD) instead of traditional and separate logic device. In the design of software system, it optimizes the algorithm making full use of the speediness of DSP, adopts modularized programming idea, subdivides large task into small function models, makes full use of characters of advanced C language's and DSP assemble language's conciseness and high efficiency and programs to have realized all the protection functions;and communication module is based on TCP/IP IEC60870-5-104 protocol by Ethernets, Which inceases the function of communication of the device and can meet the demand of Automatic control on power system.The new device that combines measurement with protection and network shows the modern design concept. Which fills with the need of intelligence and information of device, and provide foundation for the seamless communication of the power station automation system, which adapts to the demand of the electric automation system better.The result of the functionality test shows that has accurate measurement, fast response, and correct communication, its performance meets the feature qualifies requests and the designed requirements. |
