After analyzing the peculiarity of blaze radiation in furnace, the relations amongradiant energy and the fuel and combustion rate are deduced by the way of heat balancein the furnace. After analyzing the method which detects radiant energy,the nonlinearrelation of radiant energy and R,G,B value in radiant image is proposed. Theexperiment which measures radiant energy of resistance furnace in laboratory isintroduced in detail. Take advantage of experiment stylebook to train neural network,R,G,B values of radiant image are the input of the network, radiant energy is theoutput of the network, so the BP neural network used to measure radiant energy isacquired. Furthermore, the experiment to furnace proves that the precision of themethod is high fairly. This paper researches a new load coordinated control system inwhich the radiant energy signal detected from furnace is taken as an intermediatecontrol variable and a feedback signal to combustion rate in boilers. The new system iscompared with the old one when the diversified disturbances enter into the loadcoordinated control system. The result of simulation shows that the new controlstrategy enhances obviously the control quality.
