Reliability of boiler's heating surface is an important index to evaluate the quality ofpower station boilers, and a focus of market competition. Power stations are eager to developsome methods of prediction in terms of maintenance boiler's heating surface, to guide theoperation of power sets properly and to control its fault, and so to prevent damage of boiler'sheating surface and spread of fault. With collecting and sorting of data from operation, thepaper concludes the life distribution of boiler's heating surface by the method of statistics anddeducing, with which reliability parameters and various life characters of boiler's heatingsurface can be calculated. With knowledge of life distributing of boiler's heating surface, wecan predict its fault, make and arrange strategy of maintenance rationally, and expound thefeasible solution to optimize the maintenance of boiler's heating surface. The paper may behelpful to and guide the current maintenance and management of boiler's heating surface.
