Preventive test and regular maintenance of power distribution equipment are essential in the power system routine works.However,there are lots of issues being faced in this work,including the maintenance manpower shortage,large difference in workers' skills,simple strategy in regular equipment maintenance and testing plans,etc.Dinghu of Zhaoqing is a district with the topography of mountainous areas and flat ponds in majority.Except the urban areas,its power distribution network includes mainly the overhead distribution lines whose line paths are extremely complex and the quality of some types of equipment is poor.At the same time,a large portion of Zhaoqing Dinghu is within heavy minefields Therefore,the reliability of the distribution system is easy to be affected by the climate and the surrounding environment which leads to frequent faults.This thesis analyzes the faults distribution and optimizes the maintenance strategy of the distribution equipment in specific to the power distribution network of Zhaoqing Dinghu district.In the First part of the thesis,the reasons leading to the faults of Dinghu 10 kV distribution lines and equipment in recent years are classified and analyzed.Then the failure modes of all kinds of distribution equipment are analyzed.The maintenance countermeasures for different fault modes are summarized.Combined with calculations on the work demands of current distribution equipment maintenance in Dinghu Power Supply Bureau,the deficiencies of the existing maintenance strategies are putting forward.Combined with the operation experiences in other power distribution regions,a reliability-based equipment maintenance cycle decision theory is proposed to optimize the distribution equipment maintenance period of Dinghu District.The proposed operation and maintenance strategies are applied in Zhaoqing Dinghu Power Supply Bureau and have already shown a positive impact on the reliability of the system.It also has a good reference value for other districts to improve the quality of periodic inspection and maintenance of distribution equipment and to reduce maintenance costs so as to better meet the needs of high reliable of power supply.
