In the modern enterprise, the typical problems of maintenance includepassive maintenance, the repetition of maintenance problem, and thereasonable maintenance not institutionalized, the unnecessary andconservative preventive maintenance, lack of traceability to maintenance plans,therefore, it is necessary to develop a suitable maintenance strategy to dealwith these problems. The reliability centered maintenance (RCM) can providethe most systemic and effective method to solve these problems for optimizingthe maintenance plan of equipment, and achieve the reasonable and effectivemaintenance decision-making.At present, RCM has been applied in the many petrochemical enterprisesof our country, but for some factors, its practial effect is not good, whichreflects in difficult to make use of historical and condition monitoring’s dataknown to obtain the hidden information of equipment for its risk assessment,for the purpose, this paper studies from the following contents:(1) Introduced the life model of the single and the mixed weibull distribution into RCM for the assessment of equipments, the correspondingmethod to estimate their parameters is put forward, and their principle ofselection is summarized, so each index of reliability is gained by using theestimation results, the risk of key parts of reciprocating compressor in thepetrochemical enterprise is assessed in view of the research contentsmentioned above, which reflects the model can obtain a ideal effect.(2) Investigated the model for equipments in condition monitoring toachieve the failure analysis of small sample data, which mainly includes threetimes exponential smoothing, gray markov and neural network based on greyrelated analysis, and used a example of bearing to verify their feasibility andeffectiveness, in addition, the problem of residual life prediction is alsodiscussed and studied.(3) The implementation process of RCM is introduced for the evaluationof the reciprocating compressor in petrochemical enterprise, the results ishelpful for screening out the key components of failure mode correspondingthat might lead to high and middle risk, meanwhile, the optimizedmaintenance decision-making is achieved.
