A Reverse Analysis Of The Street Space

This is an article on the configuration design of new city center streets. The form of urban streets, which is the leading actor in urban forms of publication, is the disquisitive object of this report. We describe three representative cases of new urban centers in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen, then research them by the methods of descriptive analysis theory and instructional analysis theory. There are some existent problems and disfigurement on design of new city center streets that appear when we analyse the components of the urban substance conformation such as the width of the road red line, the open circuit modality of roads, the ratio of height and width in form of streets, the close extent and the continuity of building surfaces. We analyse and discuss the influence in street forms of them with politics point, economic point, culture point and other points, and ultimately we find the ways to deal with them attribution to the research on the excellent planning cases.These problems reflect the disfigurement in general ideas, urban planning, urban design, architecture design and so on, and they are also embodied in other exploitation lays of urban construction. The report's framework calls for recognizing existent problems and disfigurement on design of new city center streets and the cause of them, and we must hurdle them to make sure the disciplinary development of urban public streets.
