Based on analyzing the development of automobile electronic technology and CAN-BUS, the system of automobile control based on CAN-BUS is designed, which is following the design principle—convenience, good practicability, high reliability and low cost, and the design need—good real time and high ability of anti-interference.In this paper, we offer to a whole project of automobile control system, and emphasize on one of automobile control module which is the power terminal and switch signal control module, in which the hardware and software are designed. In the hardware design, we make kinds of signal to be research objects, which is 4 ways analog resistance signal (water temperature signal, oil temperature signal, oil pressure signal, oil pressure of wheel box signal), 2 ways analog voltage signal (transducer signal of motor flame), 1 way pulse signal (motor rotate signal), 32 ways switch signal (automobile lamps signal, automobile doors signal, automobile removing rain equipment signal, automobile wheel box block equipment signal). All these signal are processed by PIC18F458 single chip processor, then some date are transmitted into the center control module by the CAN-BUS controller and CAN-BUS. The center control module processes those date which is switch signal, analog signal and pulse signal, and then sends out kinds of orders to control whole automobile system by the CAN-BUS.By means of the integrated development environment MPLAB-IDE software, assembling program and off-circuit simulation can be made. Together with using ICD2 and the development tools of PIC18Fxx, we can make the system realize the functions of in-circuit programming, in-circuit debugging, and down-loading the assembling program, which makes the designing and developing of the control system easier.To the communication network question of the good real time and high anti-interference which is need by the today automobile control system, we design the system of automobile control based on CAN-BUS to control automobile, and to realize communication with other module by the CAN-BUS. By this design, we reach to realize the automobile intelligent communication network control.
