It record and expound the evolution process of the formation, construction, development of the settlement pattern systematicallyFirst, From the three aspects of physical environment, social environment, built environment, the paper analyze the typical characteristic and the process of formation and building of the village's construction of settlement pattern.Second, Through the ways of surveying and mapping, researching and pattern analysis, the paper concludes that the basic unit of Yuangong Village's settlement pattern is quadrangle, which as the prototype make most of the constructions' appearance followed. And, the rising number, mutual combination and expending of the quadrangle units, turned the scattered units into a complete district. Meanwhile, through the village's dimension node, especially the organization and direction of the nodes of temples, connected with the lines of streets and roads, each districts gradually combined together and formed an integral dimension network construction, then, from disorder to order, the settlement pattern construction of this village finished the process of growth.Third, the paper pays close attention to changes of the settlement pattern of modern Yuangong village. The changes, which are on the state, structure and culture of contemporary Chinese countryside, break the state of stabilization of Yuangong Village's settlement pattern. Through the type analysis on each period's architectures after Liberation, the paper conclude that the evolution is affected by both internal force and external force. Nowadays, Yuangong Village, affected by the needs of economy and the general plan of the village, it's settlement pattern, such as the viatic system and the room of public communication, changed largely, however, the settlement pattern's district characteristic is weaker and weaker.At last, The paper point out that the village's development and construction should be grow and bequeath with its own "gene", but not to " clone" the "genes" from other places. Besides, in today's "new country construction", it's necessary and urgently to carry out the regional census on the country construction and have all necessary things on file.
