| The paper expounds the testing actuality of the performance of automotive ABS and discusses the necessity and urgency of the research of ABS test benches. It introduces the working principle of automotive brake. It analyses the problem of side and uncontrollability of direction of traditional braking system and the function of ABS. It discusses the necessity of equipped ABS in tradition braking system and the theory of ABS test. Different scheme of the ABS test benches have raised based on different test requirement of ABS. The test benches of one wheel model and the whole vehicle model are designed. The paper designs the inertia system of test bench accurately based on the theory of kinetics equivalent model of mechanical system. It analyzes the model error of the inertia system of the test bench. It makes the choice of the kinds of motor based on the working condition of the test bench. It analyzes the forces that the wheel is taken effect on the test bench at starting and braking. It discusses the forces that the roller is taken effect. It calculates the life expectancy of the bearing. It discusses the torque that the roller is taken effect at braking. It calculates the kinetic parameter and designs the gear transmission case. In order to know the stress and distortion in the shelf and the roller shaft, it makes FEA for the shelf and the roller shaft. It calculates the allowable non-balance quantity of the flywheel and roller. This paper has designed the whole design plan of the mechanical system of the test bench. In the appendix there are the whole design plans of the mechanical system of the test bench for single wheel model and the whole vehicle model. The design scheme has beem accepeted by the producer, it will been carried out recently. |
