With the rapid development of electrical railway, the reliability of traction power supply system is close related to the stability of electrical railway system. And the power of electrical railway is supplied by the traction substation along the line. Therefore, the working situation of traction substation is always focused by dispatchers. In the past, these data information could only be recorded and displayed in the field dispatcher room. As the computer networks technology is applied widely, many local area networks are built inside railway in succession. However, most of them work independently. The general architecture and uniform user interface of Internet/Intranet bring the system incremental structure and expansion, low cost development and maintenance, simple operation, easy training, convenient repair and update. How to utilize the corporate network resource to build a powerful remote real-time traction power supply data supervisory system in electrical railway, to improve the timeliness and consistency of information, to send various kind of information more accurately, safely and quickly to all needed and permitted places, to realize larger range of information share, is an urgently to be studied subject.Internet/intranet-based electrical railway SCADA network supervisory system is proposed in this background. The goal of it is to utilize the lower cost network to connect the insular information systems, which consist of electrical railway remote control system and dispatching management system, to realize integrated dispatching management automation of the whole electrical railway, to provide the electrical railway management layer and power supply department the working situation of traction power supply system, which could be seen only by field operators in the past. Microsoft published Microsoft.NET strategy in 2000, which is one of the most advanced Web solutions in the world. The kernel techniques of .NET include distributed computing, XML, COM, immediate compiling, and so on. They are the most advanced computer techniques in the world nowadays, and also stand for the directions of computer technology development. The publication of .NET framework has exploited a new route of building electrical railway SCADA network supervisory system.Firstly, the function and structure of electrical railway SCADA networksupervisory system are expounded in the thesis. After comparison of its design models and combination with fast development of Internet, the research background and meaning of this subject are proposed. Secondly, the total structure and working mechanism of .NET platform are dissected. The Web techniques of .NET platform are discussed with emphasis, and are compared with popular dynamic Web development technologies. The system development way base on .NET architecture is confirmed. Thirdly, integration with the characteristics of network supervisory image, compared to the Web publication method of supervisory and control image, the superiority of adopting SVG to publish network supervisory image is presented. In the end, a well-elastic Web-based electrical railway SCADA network supervisory system is constructed, which is developed on the .NET platform.
