Study And Realization Of Electronic Toll Collection System Online Across Regional Freeway

Rapid development of country economy and continuous expanse of traffic scale require new aims and demands of the speedway collection systems. It is the hotspot that the research of the electronic network toll collection system in ITS (Intelligent Transportation System).Based on the electronics and information technique,the system integrates many techniques,such as IC,real time control,image manipulation, network, large-scale database,security,storage and software tech. It is a new efficient pattern of toll collection meeting demands of the freeway. If it can be used appropriately,the extent of science,modernization and transportation means utilize would come to a new stage. Of course,many malpractice phenomena would be prevented,even be stopped. The paper focuses on the research of the system structure,network design and the realization of the toll reckoning software. At the same time,the model of the toll collection system is stated. It is emphasized that the function module and work principle of the combination toll collection system,and the design of the toll collection software. Finally, A use case that the electronics and information technique was used in the freeway of JingShen, is introduced and its feasibility is described.
