The long-span spatial structures is the quickest developing structures among all at present, The long-span constructions and the development of spatial structures' technology as the core of them have already become one of important signs and stood for the science and technology level of the country's architecture. Many nations cost much funds for the development of long-span spatial structures, which offered thickly theoretical basis and technology conditions for the quickly development of them. Suspen-dome was a new Hybrid-structure by Japanese researchers invented through the research about the defects of the single-layered truss dome and tensegrity system under the tendency of situation in 1990's. Theoretical research and engineering experience of suspen-dome have had a very large development in Japan. But Internal researchers began to research and searched the suspen-dome from the early of his century. The researches about dynamical peculiarity.. seismic response wind vibrating response and the engineering experience are few and engineering experience only tentatively once. So the work of this paper feels about analysis of the suspen-dome.Firstly, on the basis of wide-range reading of relevant internal and foreign documentation datum about the long-span spatial structures, this paper looks back and summarize systematically developed history researching present status and the application about engineering experience of the Hybrid-structure. This paper also introduces background of beget, structural shape, and researching present status and the application about engineering experience of the suspen-dome. Then the main contents are pointed out.Secondary, the finite element equation of the suspen-dome is established and the choices about solving means of nonlinear system of equations are introduced in this paper. This paper also ascertains the structure shape and make up forms of the suspen-dome. Work state of the suspen-dome is calculated about the static characteristics by use of ANSYS analytical software. It also researches the affection on static characteristics by calculation methodology and nodes stiffness about internal force and displacement of the top structure and end reaction under the action of vertical loads and knows law about internal force distribution and nodes displacement and end reaction of the construction members. The influence on the structural static characteristics under different parameters(these parameters include vector height, prestressing force, and so on)and the changing condition of internal force and nodes displacement under these parameters are researched and analyzed.Subsequently, finite element analysis of auto oscillation characteristics ofthe lop structure is analyzed by use of structural dynamic theory and subspace method. Structural frequency, corresponding vibration shapes, stiffness distribution and basic auto oscillation characteristics of the top structure are ascertained and grasped. The influence on structural auto oscillation characteristics of different parameters(these parameters include vector height, roofing material mass, area of chord section, prestressing force)and change condition of frequency and corresponding vibration shapes are researched and analyzed.Then, shock-resistant capability of the top structure is researched by use of the spatial multi earthquake modal response spectrum theory. Dynamic internal force distribution of the construction members and the influence on structural auto oscillation characteristics of different parameters (these parameters include modal combinatorial number, vector height, roofing material mass, area of chord section, prestressing force) and change condition of internal dynamic force and dynamic displacement under these parameters are analyzed and discussed. Time histories of the structure elements are got and compare the results to consequences of spectrum theory. This paper has a overall acquaintance about stressed capability of the new style top structure under seismic action and gets some useful conclusions about structure design.Ultimately, the conclusions of static and dynamic capability are drawn on the basis of analysis and research about suspen-dome and the recommendation and perspectives are put forward.
