Kiewitt-Lamella suspen-dome is a new type of hybrid structure, with acharacteristics of uniform internal force distribution in internal Kiewitt part, and abetter seismic performance in external Lamella part.Considering the unique style,it isnecessary to carry out a study on the mechanical performance of integral structure, especially on that of seismic response and dynamic stability. This paper, using ANSYS software, built a model of Kiewitt-Lamellasuspen-dome structure, and determined the designed value of pre-stress,and obtainedthe initial value of strain in shape analysis, laying a foundation for next work.Thispaper conducted a modal analysis, taking rise-span ratio, ring number ratio, style ofsupport, load and stimulation direction as parameters, studied the influence onnatural vibration properties, and carried out a comparison analysis with correspondingupper dome.Secondly, using time-history analysis method and inputting component of typicalearthquake wave in X-direction and Z-direction respectively, this paper, got the time-history curve of internal force and displacement, graspped basic law of seismicresponse of the structure, and withdrew the stronggest response of internal force ofspars of each ring, summarized the influence of various parameters on dynamicresponse level of structure though parameters analysis. Finally, this paper, inputting earthquake waves with different acceleration peakin X-direction and Z-direction respectively, obtained corresponding critical load ofdynamic stability, location and value of maximum displacement response of nodes, and corresponding response moment of structure from calculation result, simplylearned some dynamic stability performance of Kiewitt-Lamella suspen-dome,andprovided useful theory basis for seismic design of structures.
