On the technique view, the concept in design of stressed skin diaphragm in the light steel structure is always that the mechanical behaviors of profiled steel sheeting are not considered. This is an improper simple principle. From economy, profiled steel sheeting has strength and rigidity, and they can work together with the structure, so brace elements can be reduced or cancelled. It is easy to see that the research on the stressed diaphragm of profiled steel sheeting deep and systematically has theoretical value and significant meaning of national economy.The research results of stressed skin diaphragm are summarized in this paper, and based on the research results, finite element models of wall structure are set up in this paper, the validity of models and exists of stressed skin diaphragm are conformed. Parameter analysis is made about some influences in wall structure, such as wall-beam, space, span, thickness, the ratio of width to thickness and opening.The results show that spacing of wall beam has little influence on load-bearing capacity of structure and resistance to lateral displacement; span of wall beam, slab thickness and slenderness ratio of column hane much more influence ; when opening area keeps within 20%,the stressed skin diaphragm can still be considered.For there is not much research on performance of global structure, so two global structures about stressed skin diaphragm structure and common structure are set up and global performance of them is analysed respectively, by comparing the results of analysis of the models, it finds that the stressed skin diaphragm improves the stiffness of whole struture obviously, improves the load-bearing capacity and reduces the deformation of structure. In addition, through simulation analysis on sheeting structure, it finds that the distribution law of stress and it makes us know the state of practical mechanical behaviors and deformation of structure. At last, the design method and technical measures of the stressed diaphragm structure are introduced. The conclusions are useful for practical design and further study.
