The importance of simulation analysis of satellite attitude disturbances with rotatable payloads is discussed. The mechanical analysis software ADAMS is used to model the VP (Virtual Prototyping) of satellite, simulate and analyze its dynamic characteristics. Attitude control system is studied by MATLAB combining with ADAMS. Mathematic model of the satellite is set up to validate the results. The main work is given as follows:1. The CAD model which is modeled by Pro/ENGINEER is transformed to ADAMS environment. In this environment, satellite components are assembled, and then the joints and loads are put on the model. Finally, the VP of satellite system is finished.2. Mathematic model of satellite attitude dynamic is set up, and external disturbance torque is analyzed.3. The disturbance analysis of satellite attitude is studied under different rotatable payloads and working conditions. This work provides the basis for designing control law.4. Combining with MATLAB, the control law is designed using PID control. The ADAMS model of satellite is used to validate the designed control law. In addition, the control law is improved by using genetic algorithm PID self-tuning and fuzzy adaptive PID self-tuning.The designed satellite attitude control system presented in this thesis is very useful for implementation. Simulation results show that the designed control system have good stabilization performance.
