In recent years, along with the economic growth, our country urbanization has already been in the acceleration course. The city construction is developing quickly, and the city park construction and reconstruction activities are booming. However, the city parks appeared some problem that can't neglect in the praxis; and they can't meet user's demand still. It is extremely feasible and urgent for designers to build better city integrated parks which can more satisfy people's behavioral desires.Collected interrelated data with sociology research methods, and understood people's behavioral and mental characteristics, the thesis appraise existing comprehensive parks using the system of post occupation evaluation basing on city park users'appraisal opinion, and put forward optimized suggestions.Based on the results of several domestic papers relating to POE on domestic city park, the thesis abstracts valuable appraisal factors, and get logical course so as to try to suggest the POE model.Then, the thesis appraises several city comprehensive parks in Changsha (Megalopolis) and Xiangtan (large city): Martyr Park and South Suburb Park in Changsha, Yu Hu Park in Xiangtan with POE model aiming at city comprehensive parks, which reflects objectively using situation in comprehensive parks of large city with questionnaires, observation and random interviews, and analyzing the finding. Besides, based on these analyses, the paper,summed up those problems in large city comprehensive parks and got their causes, puts forward optimized suggestions about city comprehensive parks to satisfy peoples in the design and administration perspective to demonstrate park POE model's feasibility.
