Automotive braking capacities is one of the auto's main capacities, which means people can reduce speed or park their car through automobile brake basing on demands. The choiceness of braking capacities is related to security of automobile directly. According to the rapid development of automotive industry and the situation that the device of our automotive braking performance measurement has lag behind forgein's. Therefore, it is necessary to find better methods and tools of testing automotive brake performances quickly and accurately.The main aim of this thesis is to design an automobile brake valve static characteristic automatic testing system and lay stress on the computer controlling system design and software design to try to improve the "intelligence" and "automation" speciality of the system, which makes it more multifunctional, good-performance, easy-used and with high precision and reliability.Firstly, This paper discuss about the situation, development and significance of the research of the automobile brake valve performance measurement and controlling system, and also it introduces the computer controlling technology's history and development in the future. Then, it introduces the collectivity design of the automobile brake valve automatic testing system, which basing on practice demands and according to QC/T35-1992 and QC/T36-1992 automotive braking performance measuremen state standard.Secondly, according to the blue print of automobile brake valve static characteristic testing system and practice demands, this paper gives a detail design to the system, which including test-bed machine design, clamp design, gas route system design, computer controlling system design and measurement-control software design, etc. Among these, this paper introduces the design of computer control system and measurement-control software with emphasis. The computer control system adopted industrial control computer bus system, which buildup from sensor and signal rectifing circuit, powerful date acquisition card, I/O control card and,correlation interface circuit and transmission mechanism. The measurement-control software design used the method that Visual C++6.0 associate with Dynamic Link Library (DLL) of card, and it adopted the dedign philosophy that from top to down in the design of the software, and...
