Relative to the traditional construction, the stressed skin diaphragm system is an efficacious structure system. It considers the subordinate elements as an important part of the main load-bearing elements, utilizes sufficiently the shearing resistance ability in plane of exterior-protected construction, works on the whole structural system and increases the structural rigidity. It is not only reflecting the working of structure but also obtain economic benefit.The study and research of the single panels stressed skin diaphragms has already get much achievement. The sandwich panel has great predominance in actual project of strength, insulation work and durability, so it has been used extensively in various fields, so the research on sandwich panels about the ability resistance to shear in plane seems particularly important among the sandwich panels design and construction course. Sufficiently consider the function of stressed skin diaphragms, it can reflect the actual working condition of structure better, and optimize stress and integral arrangement of the structure. Based on the experiment of the stressed skin diaphragm and the analysis by the "ANSYS" software, the author's purpose is put forward one rational and economic design means.Three parts in this paper of experiment and theory will be presented:The first part is the experiment of jointing pieces connected by the self-tapping screws. Through the experiment data researching and analyzing on various modulus effect the connection performance, effective diameter of jointing pieces and destruct mode, present the calculate method of loading capacity in the part.The second part is the experiment of the stressed skin diaphragms. Through comparing the experiment phenomenon and results of the roof and wall panel, analyze the strength performance of double layers stressed skin diaphragm system and compare with the single layer steel plate, present the reasonable mechanical assumption, which can amendment the original calculation method of the limit bearing capacity of the single layer stressed skin diaphragm and made it can be used in the polyurethane sandwich panel.The third part is analyzing the shear capacity of the stressed skin diaphragm system by finite element software "ANSYS".
