The stressed skin diaphragms is a structural system that consider profiled sheet of roof and metope working with framework and purline. With widely applying of profiled sheet, it is not only reflect the working of structure but also obtain benefit that considering the ability resistance to shear of profiled sheet in the plane itself.On the base of studying the experiment method and research progeny of the stressed skin diaphragms, connection performance and shear behavior of stressed skin diaphragms that made of the material often used in country connected by the self-tapping screws is studied in this paper. In this paper, the material model of the stressed skin diaphragms was also analysed by the "Ansys" software.Three parts in this paper of experiment and theory will be presented:The first part is the experiment of fifty jointing pieces connected by the self-tapping screws and rivets. Through the experiment data researching and analyzing, various modulus effect the connection performance, effective diameter of jointing pieces, destruct mode and the calculate method of loading capacity and rang of shear rigidity value is presented, insuring connection performance measures is also presented in the part.The second part is the experiment of the stressed skin diaphragms. Three specimens is made of V-840 profiled sheet, the specimen size is 4200x4500. Through observing destruct mode of the specimen and the strain data of the connected point all around the specimen and seam of board, the stress state of connected points and profiled sheet around of the points is presented, the "P-Δ"curve of the stressed skin diaphragms is also presented. The effect of skin diaphragms that made of general used boards and connect method is analyzed, some suggestions are presented in the part.The third part is analyze the shear capacity; shear rigidity and structure distortion of the stressed skin diaphragms used the "Ansys" software. The analyzed value and the experiment value are inosculated.
