Along with the interior and the external environment of the modern manufacture system changing, the manufacture system is becoming more and more complex,and the control of it is also becoming more and more difficult, so the traditional workshop control system has not been able to adapt this kind of change gradually.This impels people to concern about the research of the new workshop control system , of which the goal is to enable the manufacture process to be more highly effective, how enhances the agility, the variability and fault tolerance,becomes the decisive key question of the manufacturing industry development.This paper has constructed a kind of workshop control system which is based on the multi-Agent technology ,and does a research on the essential technology of it.Based on the multi-Agent technology,machines , manufacture units, components, products and the other manufacture entity in the workshop are regarded as the agents/which has the ability of the autonomy and the cooperation.The system has the distributed system structure and the decision-making responsibility,it can realize the reconstruction and the optimization by the coordination among agents,it is suitable for the manufacture pattern of the modern manufacture environment.First ,the paper introduced the definition of the Agent and MAS,and proposed the function structure of agent, summaried the characteristic of them,and analyzed the MAS coordination levels and the coordination protocol,diefined its communication language.Afterwards, this paper described the process which the workshop control system structure development evolves, and analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of the centralized ,the hierarchy and the distributed control structure, proposed a model of workshop control system which is based on MAS and the virtual manufacture unit, the mode has adopted one kind of mixed style of control structures, with utilizing the hierarchy structure to cope with the complexity of the system, constituting complex system by the relatively simple part, at the same time introducing the distributed way, when duty execution met the uncertainty, the distributed pattern can provide the robustness and the agility.For reducing the processing period , the processing cost, raising the utilization rate of equipments as well as reducing transportation time, this paper applies the...
