Based on the design of the ECG telemonitoring system for wireless net, this dissertation discusses the design and implementation of the ECG telemonitoring terminal. The terminal is developed based on a high performance embedded 32-bit ARM microprocessor, and implemented on real-time operation system platform uC/OS-II. Users could gather, record and wirelessly transmit ECG(Electrocardiograph) data with this terminal, which also provide position location and USB(Universal Serial Bus) communication. LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is used to display ECG waveform and system menu, which is cooperated with keyboard buttons, in order to provide friendly interface and make operation simple and convenient. The small and low-cost terminal can be used not only as a part of ICU/CCU(Intensive Care Unit/Coronary Care Unit) but also in health care for family member for its significant meaning to diagnose heart disease at its early stage. The hardware design of the monitoring terminal and the porting of uC/OS-II based on S3C44BOX are introduced in this dissertation. The protocol between the monitoring terminal and the monitoring center based on CDMA2000-1X is also designed. For the insufficiency of traditional GPS technology, the GPSOne technology is used.We designed active electrode that can promote the quality of signal in the hardware design of the terminal. The S3C44BOX is the kernel of the terminal, with the help of NAND FLASH and the wirelessly module, the terminal can record and wirelessly transmit ECG data. Moreover, the dissertation describes the design of tasks and intertask communication according to the system functions. The testing results show that the monitoring center can effectively locate the monitoring terminal with GPSOne network. The technology in this dissertation has already been realized in products and proved effective by clinical tests.
