Assembly type light aluminum alloy structure activity room was developed by the total logistic construction research institute in order to raise our army's camp housing level. Full-scale tests on activity room were carried in order to grasp the mechanical behavior of such structure. The bearing capacity experiment to assembly type light aluminum alloy structure activity room was carried with righting location method. The structure was study under several kinds of situations as follows: (1) Static response under9,10,11 level of wind loading; (2) Static response under 20cm, 40cm, 60cm thick snow loading ; (3) Static response under 11 level of wind loading and 40cm thick snow loading. The theoretical analysis and the computation to the structure were carried used the finite element analysis software. Considers following situation: (1)The beam-column joints and the column base of cylinder joints of the activity room is connected with the bridge piece through the bold fastening, which belongs to the semi-rigid connection and used the spring unit simulation structure the semi-rigid node; (2)The roofing board and the wall plate are insert in the activity room. Mutual function of the compound board and the skeleton was simulates by the coupling roofing board and the wall plate and the skeleton partial degree of freedom.Based on structural test and theoretical analysis, the mechanical behavior, failure mode, load-displacement plot was analyzed and the activity room was discussed. The weakness position and destruction reason of such room was pointed out, and the work offers reference for improve the mechanics performance of activity room.
