The Study On The City Roadside Green Space Landscape Space Design

Because green space can improve the city's environment and people's life quality, at present, people pay more and more attention to the construction of city green space. The roadside green space is one of the important parts of city green space, it's distributing in streets and lanes in people's life. It not only has various positions, forms and functions but also the important activity ground in people's daily life. Therefore, the study on landscape space design of roadside green space owns practical significance.The article begins with the concepts, types, distributing position and function of the roadside green space. Then the author summarizes general design principles such as humanism, ecological and esthetics, according to relevant theories of landscape architecture, landscape ecology, environment behavior and city design. For landscape space design, the author uses the five factors of city image (path, edges, district, nodes, landmarks) sorted roadside green space's landscape space to comprehend the different types of space. And she analyses the construct factor's (terrain, plants, structures, waterscape, square, opusculum etc.) characteristic, quality and design methods. The article mostly pay attention to the discussion of the problems which contain methods of design small scale space, detail disposal about landscape construct factor and embodiment of humanism design concept. Advocating reviewing and mastering the basic theory knowledge, the study's aim is to show how to construct beautiful, comfortable and amenity city space.Then, based on a great deal of investigations on the spot, the author analyses the landscape space of roadside green space on four artery in Changsha according to the summarized principle and methods, and brings forward some pertinency referenced opinions.At last, the article summarized the conclutions include: the design and construct of the roadside green space should affiliation with road, manage the space design methods, according to the humanism design concept. We also should pay attention to the details of design in order to upgrade the roadside green space sight quality and the city sight environment quality.
