Evaluation Of The Landscape Of Outdoor Residential District

This thesis aims at an overall study on the outdoor landscape of residential district,and attempts to build up an appropriate model for the evaluation of the outdoor landscape environment of residential district.The whole paper elaborates firstly the status quo of the research of the outdoor environment and the outdoor landscape of residential district and its evaluation,and elaborates separately on the essence and related issues of the residential district outdoor landscape;the outdoor landscape environment is divided into four components with each addressed respectively by the different layer needs of residents in outdoor landsape,and summarizes concisely the principles that the outdoor landscape environment design of residential district should follow.Secondly,this thesis discusses minutely the evaluation of the outdoor landscape of residential district.From the perspective of many disciplines, this thesis studies respectively and comparatively the theory and methods of evaluation in environmental psychology,landscape aethetics.On this basis,an evaluation model is set forth for the residential district landscape according to analytic hierarchy process (AHP),with detailed description and explanation of the methods of evaluation,the target of evaluation,and the ratio of factorial evaluation to be followed.Consequently the evaluation model is out to preliminary test in three real situations so as to prove its feasibility and operability.To conclude the thesis,suggestions are made for the benefit of future and follow-up researches and studies.
