Oil deficiency and environment contamination are the crucial and global problems, many countries are developing energy-saved and environment- protected vehicles in order to resolve those two problems. Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) is now becoming a trend to meet these requirements in automobile industry; HEV is a kind of vehicle, which is in favor of the market demands in the course of EV exploitation. HEV not only could satisfy emission and fuel economy demands, but also could combine the advantages of EV and fuel automobile. This paper takes beat-up car as research object for the sake of fuel economy. At the same time, keep the dynamical capability and improve the driving miles.The parameters(engine power,electromotor power and battery power etc.)of powertrain system for HEV have notable influence on dynamical performance,emission and fuel economy of the vehicle. It is crucial for HEV whether or not all the parameters are reasonable in order to satisfy the energy-saved and environment- protected standards.The paper gave a detailed analysis about the different hybrid powertrain configuration and types of HEV, summarized the characters and using sites of all different configuration, put forward the configuration and key technologies of hybrid beat-car during the later development in accordance with the practical conditions, and fulfilled the academic calculations of different part power and introductions of all SHEV control strategys.Finally, in order to finish the control strategy parameter optimization of beat-up car, it is necessary to introduce the emulational theory of HEV and emulational progress in ADVISOR. Set up the mathematical model of hybrid beat-up car in connection with ADVISOR, and select appropriate algorithm, and write programs to optimize control strategy parameters. In comparison with the results non-optimized, the optimized results are further fit for the design requests, and have some practical values in selecting hybrid parts in the future.
