The Research On Ship Anti-roll And Anti-heel With Tank-Fin Stabilizer

It is very important for large ships to reduce the roll. The dissertation, based on the national defence program "Research on the integrated balance system for large naval ships", proposes the integrated balance system which combined with double fin stabilizer, double anti-roll tank and anti-heel tank. The integrated balance system for large ships has good anti-roll capability under different encountering wave directions, ship speeds and sea conditions. It can also make up the ship heel because of each kind of factors.The paper analyses the characters of fin stabilizer and anti-roll tank and introduces the development and research of the integrated balance system in the world. Then proposes the superiority of the integrated anti-roll method, combined with double fin stabilizer and double anti-roll tank.According to the Lagrange dynamics equation and the Krilov theory, the mathematic model of integrated anti-roll system "ship-double passive anti-roll tank-double fin stabilizer" is built up. Based on the mathematic model, the integrated anti-roll control system is established. Discuss the fitting method and the design method of fin stabilizer and anti-roll tank. By analyzing the influence of the anti-roll capability by changing the ships movement operating and the parameter of passive anti-roll tank provides the rationale for various parameters optimization.According to a real ship data, the simulation of the anti-roll capability under different dispositions was done. The results show the advantages of the double fin stabilizer and double anti-roll tank. The roll stabilization system has good anti-roll capability under different complex seaway conditions by designing and adjusting two anti-roll tank and two pair of fins reasonably.It may install the anti-heel tank to make up the ship heel, The paper analyzes the composition and the control method of the anti-heel tank, also analyzes the anti-roll tank which have the function of heel reduce at the same time, this kind of tank is similar with the German intering tank.
