With the development of auto industry, the electrical machinery controller always succeeds as the importment part and the part with highest fault rate of the automobile, so it is more important to improve the level of dependability test and the level of intellectual trouble diagnosing of the engine.Through the design and development of software and hardware, this thesis have developed the system of measuring and diagnoseing parameters on the basis of the electrical machinery controller. The software of the system includes two parts, one is the PC software and the other is SCM software. The PC program is written by using VB language, and the SCM software is written by C196 language. It collected real-time successfully vehicle speed, battery voltage, battery current by serial communicationand,displaying and processing them, and provides the scientific foundation for vehicle fault diagnosis. The author has done some experiments based on the drive electrical to simulate the failures tests. The experimental results indicate the man-machine interface is friendly, the operation is easy and dependability is good etc.The first chapter introduce the status diagnostic technology of inside and outside national vehicle development. Then, introducing the traditional fault diagnosis methods and summarized the content of the research.Chapter 2 introduced the electric motor-driven principles and the characteristics of vehicle diagnostic system and a brief description of, a detailed description of the system of data collection, selecting the system of parameters and in the electrical control-driven approach.Chapter 3 introduced the hardware functions and features of the data collection system about electric vehicle.Chapter 4 elaborates the software design concept and principle of data collection. It adopt the modularization idea to design the system's software, realizing successfully the design and realization of the software Detailed analysis of the principle of PC program and SCM program and achieve the functional components of them. Through simulation experiments of failure diagnosis,which shows the system in real time make the failure to a certain extent, and prove the method of the effective and reasonable.Chapter 5 the basic components and each functional role of the fault diagnosis system are studied. The last chapter summarizes whole paper and points out further research aspects.
