The Research Of Testing Of Pure Digital Protection Basing On The Embedded Ethernet

The application of the Electric Transformer in high voltage field brings the manufacture of the pure digital protection. In the prophase of the pure digital protection researching, we don't input the current and the voltage but the digital of the power system. For the sampling's rate and the speed of the data transmittal, we must choose a rapid mode of communication. The tradition testing couldn't meet the requirement. This paper introduces a basic thought and realization method of pure digital testing basing on embedded Ethernet. This method basing on the MC68360 hardware platform, adopting the compute result of EMTP, with the steps of data process,data storage and transmission control, can fulfill the closed loop testing with the tested equipment. In the testing, we apply the new substation standard IEC61850, meeting the automatic equipment requirement. The testing configuration is simply and operation is easy. It is sure to provide the research institute with a greater convenience to exploit new protection and equipment for the prophase testing.
