With the development of economy, expediting of civic process, and increasing of motor vehicle volume, the traffic demand increases sharply. We must take some measures to deal with the serious traffic jam that will counterwork our economy development. However, in our country, on account of the existence of mixed traffic flow, vehicles flow, non-motorized vehicle flow, pedestrians shunt and interflow time and again at signalized intersection, this status result in disordered traffic, low vehicle speed and traffic safety level. Therefore, it is very important to improve the traffic organization of signal intersection that researches the mixed traffic running characteristic.This paper outlines the traffic organization improving from macroscopic view, further analyses that on signalized intersection. On the base of above all, this paper introduces the methods of the traffic organization of mixed traffic flow on signalized intersection.This paper analyses the mixed traffic running characteristic on signalized intersection from microcosmic view, including set-up loosing time, headway of vehicle and non-motorized vehicle, and walking speed and set-up time of pedestrian. On the base of above all, this paper analyses the traffic problem of vehicle, non-motorized and pedestrian.This paper summarizes the channelization design of vehicle, non-motorized and pedestrian, and sets forth the improving composite of channelization and signal, further put forward the flowchart of channelization on signal intersection.This paper illuminates the traffic problem of traditional signal control program, and then studies the phase designing principle of left-turning vehicle, straight vehicle, right-turning vehicle and non-motorized vehicle. Considering the mixed traffic running characteristic on signalized intersection, this paper sets forth optimized cycle time, green ratio and green light interval model. According to the "group" running characteristic of pedestrians, this paper analyses "late startup" and "early break" mode, and establishes "late startup" and "early break" model.
