With the continuous increase of traffic demand,the traffic pressure of urban road network is increasing day by day,and the traffic problems such as traffic congestion,traffic accidents and environmental pollution are becoming more and more serious.As an important node of urban road traffic,the intersection of urban road is very important to the traffic capacity of urban road network.Nowadays,there are a lot of methods to improve the traffic problems of single intersection,such as channelization at Road intersection,signal timing optimization and so on.However,the adjacent intersections are interrelated and mutually restricted,so the interference between traffic flow is often more serious.Therefore,in the limited road space,scientific and reasonable time,vehicle type,shunt,points to use the road,the road traffic is always in the orderly and efficient operation of state,namely traffic organization optimization,so as to realize the reasonable utilization of resources of the adjacent intersections,improve the intersection the traffic capacity,which is of great significance to improve the city road traffic problems.The specific contents of this paper are as follows:First of all,this paper gives a brief summary of the basic knowledge of signal intersection,the geometric form of the intersection,then analyzes the signal intersection traffic conflict and intersection geometry design and traffic,and then analyzes the spatial characteristics of the road and the traffic flow characteristics of adjacent intersections,provides the theory basis for follow-up study.Secondly,in order to improve the traffic capacity of the intersection,to reduce the traffic conflict points as a whole,to alleviate traffic congestion as the core idea,this paper puts forward a method of traffic organization optimization?In the aspect of adjacent intersection channelization design,from the overall interests of the adjacent signal intersection group of the coordinated control,the design content mainly includes determining the number of lanes,including lane function division,import and export of red line broadening,lane width and length,broadening road and lane design and convergence the coordination between the adjacent intersection channelization design method;At the same time,this paper introduces the traditional timing control method of linkage signal,and then analyzes the timing optimization model and modeling method based on Synchro in detail.Finally,through the investigation and analysis of the existing traffic organization site terrain,examples of signalized intersections and specific traffic problems,combined with the actual situation of the intersection and traffic organization are put forward traffic organization measures and consider the adjacent intersection adjacent property improvement measures,The timing of the signal is optimized by Synchro software,and the traffic simulation software VISSIM is used to establish the model and simulate the operation before and after the optimization of the two schemes.Select the average queue time,travel time and delay and average queue length of these three categories of evaluation index,the effectiveness of the design method is verified by figures and forms to evaluate and intersection of existing schemes and optimization scheme comparison and analysis.
