The Research Of Highway Network Planning Auxiliary System Based On GIS

In China, while the highway construction developed quickly, the highway construction also has some questions, such as the scale is insufficient, the structure is not reasonably, the highway network is imperfect, regional development is not balanced and so on. So, the highway network planning is important. Based on the general theory of Total Quantity Control Method, the paper introduced Geographical Information System (GIS) and its using in the highway network planning field. This purpose is to discuss the method of changing the management of highway network planning data, and enhance the plan process computerizing with the operation.Based on using MapInfo, the paper research on how GIS used on the highway network planning. The paper built special auxiliary system which can use for highway network planning and develop the highway network planning. This paper established the system spatial database and the attribute database, carries on the organization and the management to the planning data. The paper designed the system application contact surface, the realization general purpose map operation, the spatial analysis, the highway network planning target computation, the achievement performance and output. The system application may enhance the viewable degree in the highway network planning, its further consummates also will certainly conveniently provides, the highly effective application tool for the plan result adjustment and the dynamic management.
